More About Singapore Girl Guides

Girl Guides Singapore is the national Guiding organization of Singapore. It serves 12,340 members (as of 2003). Founded in 1917, the girls-only organization became a full member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1966. Formerly named The Singapore Girl Guides Association, the association renamed to its present name on 24 July 2004.

Guides motto is be prepared. The initials of the GGS motto, "Be Prepared", also happens to be our Founder’s initials and is a practical reminder of the purpose of Girl Guiding which is to always be prepared for any eventuality.

GUIDES LAW
I promise to do my best,
To do my duty to God,
To serve my country and
help other people, and
To keep the Guide Law.

Our school guides had won from competitions almost every year. Here are afew competitions my seniors attended in the past few years.

( this is a competition my seniors took part in 2011 & we won the 3rd prize )

( this is a father/mother & guide look-alike competition in 2013 & we won the 2nd prize )

this following short video is to show that guides should help one another in anything including studies :)
